ShopBipe ("we", "us", "our") operates the Customer Insights application for Shopify. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.
Our app accesses the following data from your Shopify store through Shopify's Admin API:
This data is accessed in real-time when your POS staff searches for a customer. We use Shopify's Direct API Access, which means data flows directly between Shopify and your POS device.
We do not store, copy, or retain any of your customer data on our servers. All data is fetched directly from Shopify's API at the moment it is requested and is only displayed temporarily on the POS device. When the extension is closed, no data persists.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your customer data to any third parties. Your data stays between Shopify and your POS device.
All communication between the app and Shopify's API uses encrypted HTTPS connections. We rely on Shopify's built-in authentication and authorization to ensure only authorized staff can access customer data.

We request only the minimum permissions necessary for the app to function. We do not request write access to any data.
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Shopify's data protection requirements. Since we do not store any customer data, data deletion requests are automatically fulfilled — there is no data to delete.
